Kinnaird Waters Early Learning and Childcare Centre is situated in Larbert, which is on the outskirts of Falkirk.

Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre was purpose built in August 2019. It is currently registered to provide education and care for up to the maximum of 144 children between the ages of three years and five years. The nursery is open 50 weeks per year from 8a.m. - 6p.m. providing flexibility early learning and childcare to meet the needs of each family.

All staff are fully qualified and registered with SSSC. In addition to our own staff team we also work closely with social work, health visitors, educational psychologist, bilingual support, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, aberlour and various other agencies.

Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre uses child centred approach. We are observing the children daily, asking the children how they wish to take their learning forward, giving them ownership of their learning. We ask open-ended questions, mind-maps and sometimes provide provocations to further enhance, scaffold or deepen the high quality interaction learning. Staff are self-reflecting daily looking at ways to further extend our children’s individual learning during their time at Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre.
